We accept submissions by postal mail and also electronically via email. To submit your project in digital form, please email us the completed Official Entry Form along with a digital file of your film or a link where we may view your film online. Rules and Regulations for Film Entry
DVDs and submission materials will not be returned.
For preview purposes, we can view your film on DVD, BluRay, Digital File, or online via an external link to websites such as YouTube or Vimeo.
DVD's and submission materials be clearly labeled with film title and contact information.
The Mexico International
Film Festival and Awards has transitioned from a traditional film festival format to an online awards competition that serves as a platform to provide exceptional films and
filmmakers with recognition for their filmmaking and screenwriting
achievements. Films will not be
screened for the public.
Once the Official Jury has concluded the
judging process, winners and awards will be announced publicly on this
website, via targeted email blast, via our social networks, and to the
international film and entertainment media through our annual
international press release.
The Festival kindly asks that any awards won be mentioned in the projects' promotional materials, although it is not a requirement
More than one entry may be submitted. Each project must be submitted separately with its own completed entry form.
Filmmaker will assume shipping costs of entry materials to the Mexico International Film Festival.
Titles produced in languages other than English must have legible English subtitles.
Entrants must assume all responsibility for clearing films and submissions materials through U.S. and foreign customs officials.
Mexico International Film Festival reserves the right to make any necessary changes in event scheduling.
Accepted DVD formats are NTSC, PAL, Region 1 or region free. Please mark clearly on the disc and DVD case if format is not NTSC, Region 1 or region free.
You agree to indemnify and hold us and our employees, owners, affiliates, partners, and subsidiaries harmless from all claims and liability arising from your entry or participation in the Mexico International Film Festival.
All submissions must fill out the official entry form application. Once you finish all required fields on the official entry form, please mail or email it to us making sure to include your submission.
By submitting your film into competition in the Mexico International Film Festival you agree that you have read, accept, will abide by all rules and regulations.
