Digital Submissions
We accept submissions by
postal mail and also electronically via email. To submit your project
in digital form, please email us the completed Official Entry Form
along with a digital file of your screenplay in PDF, Word, Final Draft, or Movie Magic format. Our email address for digital submissions is

Rules and Regulations for Screenplay Competition Entry
If a submission involves two or more writers as applicants, the award will be shared among them.
Awards are based on overall merits of the screenplays.
Entry fee is nonrefundable.
Entrants retain all rights to their screenplays.
Screenplays must be original work, however, adaptations are accepted.
More than one entry may be submitted. Each must be submitted separately with a completed entry form.
Script materials will not be returned.
The selection committees' and juries' decisions are final.
Once the Official Jury has concluded the judging process, screenplay competition winners will be announced on this website, via targeted email blast, via our social networks, and through our annual press release. There will be no physical awards ceremony.
Screenwriters will assume shipping costs, if any, of entry materials to the Mexico International Film Festival.
Entrants must assume all responsibility for clearing mailed-in submissions through U.S. and foreign customs officials.
Mexico International Film Festival and Awards reserves the right to make any necessary changes in event scheduling.
Accepted screenplay formats are PDF, Word, Final Draft, Word, and Movie Magic.
You agree to indemnify and hold us and our employees, owners,
affiliates, partners, and subsidiaries harmless from all claims and
liability arising from your entry or participation in the Mexico
International Film Festival and Awards.
All submissions must fill out the official entry form application.
Once you finish all required fields on the official entry form, please
mail or email it to us making sure to include your submission.
By submitting your screenplay into competition in the Mexico International
Film Festival and Awards you agree that you have read, accept, will abide by all
rules and regulations.
